KeyBank named David J. DeGlopper vice president and relationship manager for the Western New York district. He will manage current small business relationships and develop new relationships at the Main and North Forest KeyCenter in Williamsville. Roswell Park Cancer Institute appointed Dr. Soldano Ferrone chairman of the Department of Immunology. He formerly was professor and chairman of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at New York Medical College in Valhalla. It also named Patrick P. Lee chairman of the board of the newly-formed Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corp. He is chairman and chief executive officer of International Motion Control Corp. Inc. KVS Information Systems, a Williamsville software company, named Edward M. Warnke president and chief executive officer.

The Niagara Chapter of the Canadian Association of Family Enterprises named Raymond L. Berta membership director of the newly-formed group. He is chairman and chief executive officer of Applied Consumer and Clinical Evaluations Corp. in Williamsville.

Northwestern Mutual Life in Buffalo named Brooks Anderson of Jamestown, Charles Root Jr. of Buffalo, and John Krudys of Jamestown life insurance agents.


American Images, a local developer of marketing communications tools built on interactive programming and design, promoted Jason Deckert to manager-interactive programming, and Curt Wallis to manager-photographic services.

Watts Engineers, a civil and environmental engineering consulting firm in Amherst, hired Nora Kramer as engineering technician-CADD operator in its Transportation.

Underberg & Kessler, a law firm with offices in Rochester and Buffalo, appointed Steve Gersz chair of the corporate department, and Jim Coniglio trusts & estates department chairman. Scheid Architectural, 520 Franklin St., hired Rebecca Randall Geraghty as project manager.

CPAC Inc., a specialty chemicals and cleaning products maker in Leicester, promoted Peggy Shuknecht to corporate accounting and consolidation coordinator, Natalie Gayton to corporate payroll and tax manager, and Francine Valentino to corporate treasury and risk manager.

Highgate Medical Group appointed Dr. Kimberly M. DeSantis of Buffalo to its medical staff in its Williamsville office. She is a board eligible physician. Barden Homes honored Joseph McCombes with its Sales Achievement Award for 1998. A sales representative with Landmaster Corporation in Pendleton, he received the top sales honor for the second consecutive year.

Zaepfel Development Co. in Williamsville appointed Beth Fruehstorfer marketing director, and named Patricia Webb assistant financial controller.

Olean Medical Group hired Dr. James P. Reynolds of Portville for its medical staff. A general practitioner, he will see patients in the Franklinville and Olean offices. Also, Dr. Roger A. Klein of Olean was appointed to the group's obstetrics and gynecology department.
