PAUL GAUSTAD JOINS CAMP GOOD DAYS FOR SOME HOLIDAY CHEER

Buffalo Sabre to bake holiday cookies with the Camp Good Days kids this Sunday

Buffalo, NY ~ For the 4th year in a row, Paul Gaustad, of the Buffalo Sabres, will be assisting the children of Camp Good Days bake holiday cookies, and at this event, it will be hard to tell who has more fun – the kids or Paul?

“Ya know, year after year I get covered in flour by the kids,” joked Gaustad, “This year, I’m fighting back…I’ll use the cookie dough if I have to and I’m bringing a couple of friends to help!”

Every year, the children of Camp Good Days bake cookies to give to some very special donors as holiday gifts.

This year will mark the fourth time Paul Gaustad has chipped in to help bake, and he is looking forward to the event, "Each time I hang out with the Camp Good Days kids, I have such a great time!” he said, “What better way to get into the holiday spirit then baking cookies with children who know how to get the most joy out of life?"

“Paul is really getting to know the Camp Kids.  To them, he isn’t just an NHL star, he’s a friend,” commented Lisa Donato, Regional Director of the organization that strives to improve the quality of life for kids with cancer.

The event, which is closed to the public (media are encouraged to attend), will take place on Sunday, December 12th, from 2pm – 4pm at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute – 845 Kenmore Ave. Buffalo 14223. (Media may enter thru loading dock, located in the back of the High School’s building.)

“We truly appreciate St. Joe’s allowing us to make a mess of their kitchen again this year,” added Donato, “those flour wars can be brutal.”
