Dear Mr. Lee and Foundation Members:
On behalf of the children and families of Camp Good Days and Special Times, Inc., I would like to extend a warm thank you to The Patrick P. Lee Foundation for your $25,000 donation over a period of 5 years. We at Camp Good Days feel privileged to have been chosen by your Foundation for this generous contribution. The grant funding will be used for our Camp Good Days Buffalo-Monthly Programs these next 5 years. This program enables children who have been touched by cancer or sickle-cell anemia, ages 4-17, to make new friends with other children facing similar life challenges, have the support of the Camp Good Days staff and volunteers, and give them a chance to “just be kids”.
Some of the events funded by The Patrick P. Lee Foundation grant are:
September 2009 – “100 Kids Play Hockey with Sabres – Sabres Center, Paul Gaustad”
October 2009 – “Pumpkin Carving at the Elma Conservation Club”
November 2009 – “Ornament Painting & Ice Cream Social” at St. Philip’s Church in Cheektowaga, NY
December 2009 – “ Christmas Cookie Baking with Sabres Center, Paul Gaustad”

While we cannot guarantee our children a long or healthy life, we can provide them with some “good days & special times” and memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for assisting us in providing some “good days & special times” for so many children in need.
